About Leila
Owner/Founder of Trillium Therapies LLC
Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (#0019020100), NAMA-recognized Ayurveda Wellness Counselor, Certified Yoga Instructor
Born and raised in the South East among the Appalachian Mountains, Leila draws inspiration from that of the ancient hills. She has passion for the Earth and for people, giving her a great curiosity to what makes each individual feel at home in their own body and in the world around them.
She was drawn to the profession of Massage Therapy over 12 years ago, intrigued by the wholistic approach (mind, body and spirit) to healing, health, and happiness. After practicing massage for over 6 years, the calling to dive deeper led her to Ayurveda, an ancient system of medicine, of which also gave depth to her already existing relationship to yoga.
She offers a unique combination of Massage Therapy, Marma Point Therapy, and Ayurveda Wellness Counseling out of her studio in Rockbridge County, Virginia and values connection to the community, and more deeply, into the world, by sharing the support and inspiration that these healing practices have shown her.
About the Logo
The Trillium, a flower local to the woods Leila has grown up in, shows up at the birth of Spring, bringing with it it’s medicine, beauty and symbolism of consciousness, embodiment, and reciprocity.
The Triangle, a shape used for as long as humankind can tell, shows up in mathematics as a symbol for change and also represents spiritual aspiration.
Both exemplifying the number three, one symbolizing the Masculine and the other, the Feminine. They combine into one image to create a balanced expression of the trinity’s sacred vibration.
