Immune System - The Basics

All this buzz about Immune Systems recently, but what does that even mean and how does it help me?

Well, naturally our bodies are strong and have a badass defense mechanism against intruders, meaning, when properly functioning, it can easily identify an intruder(or something not of us) and rid our systems of it. And that, my friends, is our Immune System!

When we are not balanced/in optimal health in our mind, body and spirit, our systems become compromised, creating spaces of metaphysical and physical gunk that negative thoughts, outside intruders or disease can become lodged, keeping them from being identified and then eliminated. That’s why it is so important to empower ourselves with healthy practices!

And how you might ask? Well, the basics; eat well, exercise regularly, sleep deeply, hydrate frequently and communicate openly! That’s right, I said communicate! When we do all of these things our mind, body and spirit are able to intake, assimilate, and eliminate properly, identifying what is to be kept and what to let go of, keeping us strong, healthy and happy!
